Hi,

I have an external webservice  to get a file (eg: GET https://somesite.com/filedownload/filename=<XYZ>).

I try to execute this query in PostMan. It is working fine. The body contain binary file. Later I was able to save this to desktop and can view it.

Now my challenge is I have list contain the file names in powerapps. When I click on button next to it(using gallery), it will pass the file name to above URL get the binary data through flow. The question is  Is there any possible to  view the content of this file in powerapps and the user who is using the powerapps should able to download  the file in their mobile for viewing.

When I try to get the value of FileName.filename I am getting a blob URL eg appres://blobmanager/29c34b42c1d648489c81bd72743e0c95/16.  is there a way to display and download the file back in powerapps?

    Hi,

If you are downloading pictures then it seems you just need to follow the same instructions presented in these communities topics to address your issue; Take a look and give it a try. If you are still having issues you can always create a Microsoft Support request and have them take a look too. I'll include another link below; if you would like to go down that route.

If you would like to create a ticket with Microsoft Customer Support here is a link on how to do so: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/get-help-support

    Regards,

    Dear All,

I found a solution for this.  I change the return type of my web service response. Instead of returning it as binary file, I return base64 encoded file. This file will be re-encode and stored in Onedrive. From Onedrive, I pass get the file property and pass it to Powerapps.
From Powerapps I will use download function to download the file through a gallery.  Hence I am able to upload/download n-number of files using two gallery control.
