Save MS Teams chat content to sharepoint

Hello! newbie here! 😄

I have a flow that starts with aa MS form. when the user fills the form, 2 actions are triggered,

1) an email is sent to a couple of persons containing the form data

2) a ms teams chat is created with the 2 persons from the mail plus the form sender.

now I'd like to store the chat on a share point, so I can keep track of the historical conversations, but.. I dont see how.

any hint?

thanks!

@Anonymous there are no actions in Power Automate that will allow you save a Teams chat to a SharePoint list.

    thanks for the info.

would be there any alternative for what I want to achieve? (get data from a form, start a conversation with the form sender and store the result of the conversation)

Someone else here might have a suggestion for how to achieve that.

    Hi @Anonymous,

Do you have E5 licenses? In that case the eDiscovery feature of Microsoft Purview might be an interesting option for you? That has exporting capabilities as well.

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/purview/ediscovery-teams-workflow

Alternatively, you can also use the list messages in chat method from the Graph API:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/api/chat-list-messages?view=graph-rest-1.0&tabs=http

Below is an example for the Graph API method.

In this sample I delay for 2 minutes for testing purposes. Set that to your preferred time 😁. I am also storing it as json file on SharePoint. You might want to change this sample if you want it in another format.
