Unable to Spy Java Based web Application

Posted on by 4

Hi ,

I’m trying to automate a Java-based web application using PAD, but I’m unable to spy the elements. I have followed the configuration steps mentioned in the portal: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-automate/desktop-flows/how-to/java.
Both PAD and Java environments are 64-bit.

However, it’s still not able to spy the elements. Has anyone faced similar issues and identified any workarounds to automate Java-based applications?

Looking forward to some responses on this.

Running the program in Admin helps sometimes but it seems like its a bit broken right now. I have quite a few java automations and the few I just checked are running VERY slow if they work at all. Some are not reparable currently because the selection tool wont detect certain windows at all even in Admin mode.
