How to reuse/carry over a parameter from a previous action

I want to definitively know if I can take the parameter I entered in the "Get all list and libraries" action on top can be entered below again using dynamic content or an expression.

I tried using parameters('dataset') but I don't think i know how to get it to access the previous action properly. I've done quite a bit of coding but I'm new to Power Automate.

I'm aware that variables exist but it doesn't provide a convenient dropdown to make this flow effortless to use.

Thanks for any direction you can give me!

    Hi @TCPC

Input parameters to an action need to be defined or be referenced from the outputs of a previous action.

For example, if you have to use multiple sharepoint actions that reference to the same site, you can initialize a compose action in the flow and refer the outputs of that compose action wherever you need to provide the site details.

You can similarly use variables based on the use case you are building. However, you cannot retrieve the sharepoint site being used in the previous action and then refer it in the consecutive actions directly.

    Hope this Helps!

Yeah, I had a feeling it wasn't going to work exactly as I planned, so I opted for adding an input value into the trigger with an input example in the placeholder. Thanks 👍
