Hello,

How do I link app to one specific SP list item? Example what I am trying to achieve:

Step 1: Person A fills out the first form and approval proccess will start.

Step 2: Responsible person gets an email about the request and he opens different from. In that form there should be information that Person A filled out.

Step 3: Responsible person fills out his required fields and that information will move on to another person.

Any kind of tip or help will mean a lot

    Hi @Anonymous ,

    Follow the below steps:
    1. Add the SharePoint connector and then add the SharePoint list see the below video for more help

    https://youtu.be/1uYHEhKs0S0

    2. For Approval you need to implement a Apporval flow see the below video for that

I hope this resolved your issue if you see any challenge/need further help please let me know I am always happy to do it for my community.

    Regards,
    Krishna

    Hi,

None of those actually helped. What I am tried to achieve is: I create an item in SP list and that item will be ran through Flows and when I open powerapp I need to see only that information not other items

    Hi @Anonymous ,

It seems your need is about Deep Linking for PowerApps that when opening the Apps through URL, the app can re-direct to the Form of specific Items.

You can pass a parameter to PowerApps via the URL shown as below, when only the link, 1 will be pass to app as the ItemID parameter.

    https://web.powerapps.com/apps/7caeaf77-6dd9-df61-053a-7b3c5b3d3bc8?ItemID=1

The Param() function can parse and extract parameter, try to set App.OnStart property as follows to add the logic to deep link into the Form screen with specific item if we detect that the app was launched with the ItemID parameter as part of the URL

    Set(VarID,Param("ItemID"));If(Not(IsBlank(VarID)),Navigate(FormScreen))

And, set the Form.Items property as follows to show the specific item if parameter is passed.

    If(Not(IsBlank(VarID)), LookUp('SP list', ID=VarID), First('SP list'))

For more information, please refer to Deep Linking in PowerApps , PowerApps Deep Linking

    Hope this helps.

    Sik
