Hi,

I would like to add a field to my Help Desk Create Ticket Form.

The item is from a different list.

I have added the same name to my Helpdesk List.

When i click on 'Create', how can i get the new field to appear on my Sharepoint list?

    Hi @JerryH ,

    Do you mean that

    1)you want to add a field in Help Desk Create Ticket Form?

    2)you want to update Helpdesk List with all the fields in Help Desk Create Ticket Form, including the new field?

    3)you want to update different list with the new field?

    If so, please notice one thing:

    the data in a form will be invalid after you submit the form.

    So if you want to update different list with the new field, you need to update this field firstly by using patch function then update Helpdesk List with submitform function.

    For example:

    Patch(list2,Defaults,{ClientName:DataCardValue1.Update});
    SubmitForm(CreateTicketForm);
    ResetForm(CreateTicketForm);
    Set(RunFlow,true);
    Navigate(ConfirmSubmitScreen,None)
    //DataCardValue1.Update is my assumption, you should replace with the value that you want to update the new field

    Best regards,

    Hi @JerryH ,

    Try this:

    SubmitForm(CreateTicketForm);
    Patch(SPlist2,Defaults,{ClientName:DataCardValue1.Update});
    ResetForm(CreateTicketForm);
    Set(RunFlow,true);
    Navigate(ConfirmSubmitScreen,None)

    I am assuming, Client name is a choice field in SPList2 and you are looking the client name from list 1 on the screen.

    I hope this resolved your issue if you see any challenge/need further help please let me know I am always happy to do it for my community.

    Regards,
    Krishna
