Show/Hide Gallery Controls on DropDown Selection

Hi,

I have an In-Line Editable Gallery, and I have like 40 columns in that one gallery for the user to enter data into them,

and I have a dropdown too whose items are ["", DIY, EMB, PER] which the user can select and while in edit mode.

if the user selects "DIY"  then DIY columns should be visible and
if user selects "Per"  then Per columns should be visible and something like that.

but when the user saves the data, the gallery gets back in view mode,
then in View Mode we cant access dropdown.Selected.Value  to even hide those columns in View Mode too

so, for that I have used this Code : OnVisible of a control

If(
 DecorTypeDropNew.Selected.Value = "DIY" || DecorTypeDropNew.Selected.Value = "EMB" || LookUp(Edwards_SalesList, ID = First(GalleryGrid.AllItems).ID).DecorTypeText = "DIY" , true,
 false
)

DecorTypeText is my SharePoint list column where the entry is stored of that particular Gallery record.

This works for 1 item in the gallery but if I have multiple gallery items of that same record then how can I do that?

means

Main List: Data

list gal.png

SaleOrderParameter:  is set to Empty just for testing purpose.

The Records have SaleOrderNumber in common.

    I'm on a mission to eliminate unnecessary If() statements. Your formula reduces to true or false without it.

    @Drrickryp ,

    I am stuck in this situation; I have to show the controls even in View mode of the gallery and Editing mode of the gallery and based on Dropdown selection if its in edit mode and the selection stored in List of that item in view mode.

    do you understand?
