Distinct Filter - Error but still works

Hi,

Pretty New to all this, I have a distinct filter that works but still gives me an error.

Distinct(Filter('Engineer list - South', Technames = 'Manager'.Selected.Result)Technames)

This is part of a cascade menu item.

All other items / drop down box's seem to work just fine.

Dropdown 1 - Sort(Distinct('Engineer list - South',Region),Result)

Dropdown 2 - Distinct(Filter('Engineer list - South', Region = 'Region-selc'.Selected.Result),'Manager')

Dropdown 3 (With error) - Distinct(Filter('Engineer list - South', Technames = 'Manager'.Selected.Result)Technames)

Also Tried - Distinct(Filter('Engineer list - South', Technames = 'Field Manager'.Selected.Result),'Technames')

    Hi @Jcurtis260

    (As you have noted) missing a comma - this is the correct syntax based on your post assuming Technames is a Single Line of Text field.

    Distinct(
     Filter(
     'Engineer list - South',
     Technames = 'Manager'.Selected.Result
     ),
     Technames
    )

    Hi @WarrenBelz

    Thank you for replying, Unfortunately, it didn't work I must be going wrong somewhere.

    I have changed it to the above but still receiving the same error.

    Technames is created as a drop down on the powerapp, however its a "Title" field renamed on sharepoint.

    Hi @Jcurtis260 ,

    That information is important (dangers of renaming fields)

    Distinct(
     Filter(
     'Engineer list - South',
     Title = 'Manager'.Selected.Result
     ),
     Title
    )

    also try a combination with the names if this does not work.
