Hello- first time posting long time lurker.
Im running into an issue with app that im building. A year or so ago I built an app that shows Sharepoint list data in a gallery and I was showing the attachment in question from the attachment data card from a form. When i clicked on the attachment it would download or open the file. Now in 2024 i was asked to build a similar app for another customer so i was doing the same exact thing but this time when i click on the attachment a new empty tab opens instead of the document. If i go to the form itself then it works as expected. what I noticed was that in the 2023 app i see these options under the Advanced option for the Attachments datacard. I have an option for "Name" and "Value" which i have set accordingly.
but in my new app those settings are no longer there and i cant figure out how to make the attachment open like it does in the other app. Am i missing a hidden setting or did Microsoft change the behavior of the attachments Datacard? Where can I add the values for "Name" and "Value" for this datacard? Any help is greatly appreciated.
