Build advanced Calendar inside Power Apps which shows different categories and different events

Posted on by 3,502

I am working on building a Power apps which show an advanced calendar view, something as follow:-

johnjohn123_0-1693398085078.png

where users create an Event, with the following data:-

1) Title

2) Category option (Category-1,Category-2,Category-3,Category-4,Category-5,Category-6)

3) Start date

4) End date

and the calendar should show the events beside the related Category and under the start and end dates... is this something that can be achieved in Power apps? If so, then can anyone guide me please on which components will need to use to have such a view?

thanks

I'm sorry John but you're asking me to tell you how to build an app from a screenshot of an Excel spreadsheet?

This is far too big a question to ask.

What I suggest is that you actually try to make it and then ask specific questions on the forum when you get stuck. Nobody here is going to tell you how to write an entire app.

    Hi Johnjohn,

Yes of course something like this can be built. I'm not sure what you're asking though, surely you don't want someone here to build the app for you?

You say you are 'working' on the app, what have you done? What are you stuck on? What do you need help with?
