title: How to use one unattended bot in a staging production environment

Hello, I purchased one unattended bot.

We are developing it separately into [staging environment and production environment]. In a staging environment, unattended bots are used very rarely... Frankly, purchasing one more unattended bot for testing is a waste of money; => Is there an easy way to easily reuse one unattended bot in staging and production?

Is there a way to allow an unattended bot to be used in any environment when there is room for it, without assigning it to a specific environment?

If I'm not mistaken, when you purchase an unattended bot license, it typically applies at the tenant level, giving you flexibility in its usage.

If you wish to utilize the same license in both staging and production environments, you'll need to manually assign the unattended license to the staging environment until your testing is finished. Afterward, you can reassign the license back to the production environment.

    Thank you for answer.

Hmm... After posting the question, I searched and found that there was a way to manually change the assignment, but I wanted to know if there was a way to automatically change the unattended assignment.
I think someone will definitely assign it to staging and not change it to production...

    Hi @ksh ,

I believe there is no way of automatically changing the license assignment, it's tenant level , so Administrator can able to re assign to different environments.

    thanks,

As previously stated, you'll need to manually reassign the license in the Power Automate admin portal under the Capacity tab. Unfortunately, there are no automated steps available for this process.
