Hello,

I have a canvas power apps application.

In which I am saving the data to the collection on the button click.
I want that collection to export into excel.
Note : I have predefined tabs in excel with some formatted structure. I want the collections data in that predefined excel format.

Any help on this is really appreciated!!

Thanks,

    Does your data have the same column names and types as the Excel table?  If yes, you can simply use this code in the OnSelect property to write back to the Excel sheet.

    Collect(your_excel_name, your_collection_name);

    Hi@praneshJ,

    Based on the issue that you mentioned, do you want to write PowerApps collection to Excel?

    Could you please share more about data structure, as @mdevaney wants to know, I also want to confirm if the collection has the same structure to your Excel formatted structure?

    Based on the needs that you mentioned, I think the ForAll function and Patch function could achieve your needs.

    Add a Submit Button and set the OnSelect property as below:

    ForAll(
     YourCollection,
     Patch(
     'YourTable',
     Defaults('YourTable'),
     {
     TableColumn1: CollectionColumn1,
     TableColumn2: CollectionColumn2,
     TableColumn3: CollectionColumn3,
     ...
     }
     )
    )

    If your Collection has same column names with your Table, you may face Disambiguation issue with your formula, please modify your formula as below:

    ForAll(
     YourCollection,
     Patch(
     'YourTable',
     Defaults('YourTable'),
     {
     TableColumn1: YourCollection[@Column1],
     TableColumn2: YourCollection[@Column2],
     TableColumn3: YourCollection[@Column3],
     ...
     }
     )
    )

    Best Regards,

    Qi
