I'm trying to acknowledge receipt of an email with an SMS.

Currently testing so looking to strip out the telephone number from the Subject of the email & SMS the formatted number in the body of an SMS to a fixed target. When proven to work, I want to use the formula to generate the target for the SMS.

I've tested the formula works using a flow to create an entry in a sharepoint list. I just don't need the sharepoint list.

How can I force the connector to evaluate the formula rather than treating it as static text?

You need to enter the formula using the expressions tab of the dynamic content dialog box to get the field to evaluate the formula and use the text it produces.

No Dynamic Value found.
Does that mean I haven't passed a Dynamic Value or the SMS Connector doesn't understand Dynamic Values?

Do I have to Generate an item in a Sharepoint list in one flow & then try to use that as a trigger in another flow to send the SMS?

OK, You have to use the GUI properly before the Expression Builder will populate with Dynamic Values.
That's got it - That's now working brilliantly, thank you.

Now all I have to work out is how to get the flow to look at new emails instead of all the emails that have arrived since the flow was switched off last week! The target phone is melting!
