Set Approval Status from Approved to Pending for file in SharePoint Library

I am creating an instant flow that requests for file deletion. So, when the user submits this request I want to change the file status from Approved to Pending.

I have used directly the action Set content approval status, but it gives an error BadGetway 502.

Any Idea how to convert file status from Approved to Pendding?

Yes it is on, to the first option ( create major version)

Actually if content approval is on, as soon as you change the file, status should change to pending. Is it not happening?

I am requesting to delete such a file through an instant flow. Inside the workflow, I want to change the approval status of the file into pending.

@Fatimah_33 - I don't think content approval status column accepts custom values. You may not be able to set custom value. It only accepts following values... Try something from below like Draft and see if it works.
Approved
Rejected
Pending approval\rejection
Draft
Scheduled for automatic approval

I think instead of content approval, you should create a custom column called status. Then you can use approval action to send approve card to approver and based on the approver, update the approval status to 'Pending Deletion'.
