Connecting to a shared mailbox in Outlook

Very new to Power Automate, and looking for some help.

I use Office 365, and have access to shared mailbox (shared@). Every day we get emailed Excel attachments, that I want to save the attachments we receive to a folder on my server.

Rule 1: Launch Outlook. All fine, works and connects.

Rule 2: Retrive email messages from Outlook (Retrieve Email Messages from account "shared@" - Error message of "failed to find Outlook account "shared@".

Is it possible to access "SHARED" mailboxes in Outlook via Automate this way? Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Because you're asking this in the Power Automate Desktop Forums i assume you use PAD (power automate desktop) to open outlook etc. etc...

    What I would do though:

Use the flow in Power Automate (cloud) that saves email attachments to onedrive.

Connect to the shared mailbox and save all received attachments to a certain onedrive folder.

Assuming you have a NAS or something like that that you use to save your files on your "server"...

There are tons of tools that sync onedrive with nas or ftp servers. So just use something like that (on synology you can use the built in Cloud Sync).

Now you have a less faulty flow that should do what you want.

If you need assistance with that, or you needed help with something different, please clarify and let me know 😄
