Hi,

I want to be able to edit.
I have built a list of protocoles and it is a gallery, but i need the option to edit the gallery if it needs to be edited.

I thoght maybe to do it with an edit button, but the gallery which shows data that was entered in a diffrent app is with labels which can't be edited.
I thoght maybe to put a button and onselect to pop a textbox to the place where i need it to be edited.

But i have a few problems:
1) it won't be save to the database.

2) I don't know how do it...

BTW the enduser (which will need to edit) will do it via teams
Please if anyone have an advice i'll be happy

Try the below steps:

Place TextInput controls in the gallery and set visible false. Also place a save button and set visible false
OnSelect of Edit make these TextInput controls and save button visible so that you can make changes
OnSelect of save button, you can use patch to update the record and set visible false
Other option is, on click of edit, navigate to different screen - Screen2.

On Screen2:

Place EditForm set data source to the sharepoint list (same datasource as gallery) and submit button
set items property to the gallery.selected.ID (Lookup('SP List', ID = gallery.selected.ID)
onselect of edit, write the code - EditForm(FormName);Navigate(Screen2, none)
onselect of Submit - SubmitForm(FormName)

Hi,
I'm trying to do what you have suggseted.
But when pressing the edit button ("ערוך") nothing happens.
And what is the syntex if i want the visiblety to active for the Savebutton and the text input?

After it how can i use a patch to update?

About the screen 2 solution, will it work if the end user use it on Teams?
