Read Microsoft calendar event on Power Automate (ICS)

I want to create a flow as the following:

Trigger: When a new email arrives in the inbox which will contain (ICS) format

ICS = Meeting on Outlook calendar

Step 1: Parse certain text from the ICS

Step 2: Send parsed variables to API

Is this possible?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi @aishak12,

You could retrieve the attachment and convert the contentBytes to a string with the base64tostring function.

    Below is an example.

    base64tostring(outputs('Get_Attachment_(V2)')?['body/contentBytes'])

    1. The flow setup

    2. A test run with an ICS attachment with its properties in a readable format.

You can use for example a indexof function to find specific property of that ICS file.

    Thank you this worked.

Could you show how to parse selected text from the output now? I would like to parse this link.

    Hi @aishak12,

Did you ever figure out how to parse the text above?
I am facing a similar challenge!

    Thank you,

    Tom
