Parent not change when a SharePoint column is edited

Hey everybody

I'm with one doubt here and I don't know if it's a bug or I have to wait more time to see it...

I have a SharePoint list connected to my app and the Forms is a simple one, using Parent in the most part of cards

I had a column in my list thats has the limit of 255 caracters as a single line of text, but I changed it to Multi line text, and in the app the property Max Lenght is Parent.MaxLength, so I guess that it should update automatically, I tried to refresh the app, open in another browser, clear the cookies and cache, but I had to re-open the app, reload the database there and publish it again... is this right? If the the text or another property is Parent. shouldn't it change when we change in SharePoint?

Have you tried deleting the data card and re-adding? I’ve seen that it’s what it takes for the metadata to refresh. Ultimately though you should be able to unlock the data card and enter whatever limit you’d like for it to be.

The problem is, as it is using the Parent.MaxLenght, the already published app shouldn't update automatically when I change the SharePoint column?
