Condition contains or starts with using MS form Questions

I am trying to write a condition that based on the multiple choice answer contains or starts with a specific value. Every time I test it it comes up false. I am trying to figure out how to get a true response.

@NMB  any reason why you want to check condition startswith, if its multichoice answer it will not start from the actual value, rather it will be in format "[\"value 1\",\"value 2\"]", i would suggest to use contains if that works for you.

The choices are divisions of a company and some subdivisions. The subdivisions all list the division name first then the subdivision. I would like any of that specific division including the subdivision to be pulled in. When I used Contains or Start with I received a false answer.

@NMB  for troubleshooting purpose, can you add Compose action, assign value of field that you are using in  the condition in that compose action, run the flow and share what is output of compose action.
