Share an app including approval flow in an environment

Hi,

We have an environment where an app and an approval flow is is created. They now want to share the app and give the users the possibility to approve in Power Automate. The users currently do not have access to the environment, only the app is shared. The users cannot switch environment and the approval does not appear. How do we do to make the complete "solution" available?

    Hi @Plinderoth ,

Do you want to share an app with flow?

Could you tell me whether the user is inside your organization?

You need to share these things:
    1)share the app (in powerapps)

    2)share the flow(in power automate)

3)share all the data sources that the app and the flow use

4)if you connect with cds, you also need to make the user have the permission of the entities that you use

But the environment, since after you share the app, the shared user could only view the app in its environment( it will not change environment), so you also need to give the user some permission about this environment.

What's more, if the user is an external user, you also need to invite him as a guest of your talent.

    Here's a doc about this:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/share-app

If you insist not giving this user any permission of this environment, I suggest you consider export your app and flow. Then share him the exported files. Do not forget to give him access of the data sources.

    Best regards,

After troubleshooting this a bit more it turns out that the user who is only an approver can switch to the correct environment in the mobile app and see the approvals. However, in the browser it is not possible to change to the correct environment and see the approvals. Seems to be a bug in Power Apps online versus the app.
