The "Get Email (V3)" action doesn't work

Hello everyone,

I would like to address an issue regarding Power Automate [With Action "Get Email (V3)"]. The flow I have created successfully prevents saving a copy in the 'Sent Items' folder when used with my account. However, it seems to encounter problems when used by other users. I have attached relevant files for your reference.

I would appreciate any insights or assistance on how to resolve this issue.

Thank you in advance for your help.

    Hi,

What does the Resolve this documentation link say to do?

Also the whole error isn't there, but

    1. this is a shared mailbox?

    2. who owns the connection being used to access it (you or a UPN) or??

    Cheers

What does the Resolve this documentation link say to do?

Send an email without it being saved as a copy in the user's 'Sent Items' folder; it will be automatically deleted after 10 seconds from the 'Sent Items' folder in Outlook.

Also the whole error isn't there, but

    1. this is a shared mailbox? - No

    2. who owns the connection being used to access it (you or a UPN) or?? - I am the owner

    Hi,

Can you give me details this? How are others using your flow? And if others are, and its your connection, it wont work for them as its going to connect to your mailbox not theirs, unless you gave them permission to.

However, it seems to encounter problems when used by other users

    Hi,

They use an 'overtime request' application by sending a request to their manager. However, there is a problem: when the user sends a request, they also find a copy of it in their 'sent items' folder. For this reason, I want to prevent the system from saving a copy in the 'sent items' folder. [Remove the duplicate saved in the sent items folder by employing two actions: 'Get Email v3' to locate the email and 'Delete Email v2' to delete the identified email]

    FYI :

    1- its my connection

2- encounter problems when used by other users

    Hello,

    Thanks for the reply.

I was just trying to understand what the actual problem is for the other users.(unless you just me the Sent Items part) if so please see next.

--As for deleting it from their Sent, while technically you could, as long as the Action has permission, it would simply go to their Deleted. Which you would then have to delete (and I cannot remember if you are able to Accept that "Are you sure this will do it forever" requirement popup.

I would send it as someone else. Do you have any SPNs or any other account you could send it from? As long as the manager can see who it is for then does it matter who it is sent by, AS long as you track who requested it?
    Cheers

    Hello,

As for deleting it from their Sent, while technically you could, as long as the Action has permission, it would simply go to their Deleted. Which you would then have to delete (and I cannot remember if you are able to Accept that "Are you sure this will do it forever" requirement popup.

We can implement an action to delete the 'Deleted Items' folder. This poses no problem.

I would send it as someone else. Do you have any SPNs or any other account you could send it from? As long as the manager can see who it is for then does it matter who it is sent by, AS long as you track who requested it?

The issue arises when a requester sends an overtime request. They can find this request in their "Sent Items" folder and take action (approve or deny it). To address this, I want to prevent the system from creating a duplicate copy in the "Sent Items" folder for the user's app, allowing only the approver to take action.
