*Y= Work from home

we are doing a roster schedule in excel online file , not we want to create a schedule flow where if its written "Y" it will send a notification to the users that we have to do work from home today.

I have the same question (0)

If this is an excel online file, then I would recommend moving the data to SharePoint and working from there.

Anyway, try this (and if it doesn't work, try messing with it a little):

    1. Convert that data to a table in the excel.
    2. Create a daily scheduled flow, with 4 string variables (dayVAR, emailVAR, nameVAR, yesOrNoVAR).
    3. In dayVAR put the expression formatDateTime(utcNow(), 'dddd')
    4. List rows present in a table.
    5. Apply to each on that.
    6. Set each of the obvious variables.
    7. For the yesOrNoVAR, make a Switch action with 5 cases, and switch on dayVAR. Case 1 = Sunday, and pull the Sunday column, case 2 = Monday pull Monday column, etc.
    8. After the switch, or inside it, your make a condition that if yesOrNoVAR is Y to send the notification.

That's it, mate ... if the Y values are true booleans you can make it a boolean variable instead.

Also, you OK with those email addresses being on the forum?

Anyway, if you can't get it to work, come back with some flow screenshots, mate, and someone here (maybe me) will sort you out good. 👍
