An unoptimized app i inherited has alot of forms and alot of pictures on those forms about 400 , These pictures are stored in library and the pictures are being lookup-ed by id on the forms, i recently discovered that when app opens the app tries to lookup all those pictures at once, and now some pictures aren't being loaded in.
Is there a way that i could make these lookup perform only when navigating to the screen where the pictures are located?
You could probably do the LookUp() in the Image's property instead, but it depends on if the images are "Connected" in any way to where they are stored, so for example if you have a gallery, put this in the image's Image property example LookUp(List, ID=ThisItem.Image_ID).Column_With_Image.
Another option is to show a loading bar or spinner on startup until all the images are loaded into the app.
Putting the image loading in the onVisible property of a screen could be a option, but you would need to check so you dont get them every time you navigate to the screen, only the first time.
