On Select, launch intranet page

Hi,

I need to have a button on PowerApps, when users click on that button, I need it to navigate an intranet webpage - so a page that requires being on the network.

The page path starts with \\ and seems like the Launch function doesn't take that as an address. Is there anyway to achieve this?

Any advise is appreciated. Thank you.

I realized it didn't take the path because I didn't include the quotation mark around the link.

I put the quotation around the link, and the link starts with file:// but it won't launch.

Any ideas would help, thanks!

Based on the issue that you mentioned, I have made a test, and the issue is confirmed on my side. I afraid that the "file://" protocol is not supported in Launch function currently.

I have generated a URL Path based on my Network file as below:

//username/Users/krisd/Desktop/Teck%20Talk/CSS%20Remote%20Smartcard%20Certificate%20Renewal%20Tool.pdf

When you access it in browser through "file://" protocol, the PDF file opens as expected:

file://USERNAME/Users/krisd/Desktop/Teck%20Talk/CSS%20Remote%20Smartcard%20Certificate%20Renewal%20Tool.pdf

But when I type above url path in Launch function, it could not be launched.
