Wondering how everyone is handling this situation. Microsoft has a best practice for the environment strategy and recommend to provide least security role privileges in higher environments. So, in my organization we have a Dev, Test & Prod environment where Dev they have environment maker role but test and prod they have only basic user.
Here are some issues:
1. Users are unable to export & import their solutions without system customizer it seems. These environments are not managed so we can't use pipelines and the users don't have premium licenses, so we can't use ALM Accelerator. Is there a better way to do this other than getting admin teams involved for migration?
2. Users are unable to see Solutions in test & prod environment. They need environment maker for this. Any idea what customization i can make to security role to enable them to view solutions without giving them environment maker. Giving environment maker in test & prod means they can create solutions there, which goes against environment strategy.
Am i over thinking this or are there solutions to these problems?
