PowerApp rich text to Yammer

I'm working on an app that posts rich text to corresponding Yammer feed. I cannot figure out how to get the formatting to now show in the post? I know yammer does rich text formatting, I'm not sure why it is not accepting my entry.

For the button OnSelect: Yammer.PostMessage("1056966XXXXX",RichText)  ...RichText is the name of the data card.

 

I've tried to add an html text box that is fed by the RichText data card and then have the html.htmlText attempt the post.

 

Example of what shows in Yammer: <p>here is <strong><span style="color:#8e44ad">another</span></strong> test</p>

    Hi @aarellano ,

     

    Based on your description, i have made a test on my side but i have the same problem.

    I looked up some documentation and found that this might be a known issue. It doesn't seem to support posting messages with HTML tags through the connector.

    Thanks for the response. I'm glad I was not overlooking something simple. Hopefully this functionality gets supported soon.
