I currently have a Sharepoint list that contains work submitted by contractors using a Power App. This work (a physical paperwork copy) gets dropped off at our office.
Is there a way to incorporate the pen input into the Sharepoint list to have someone digitally sign at the office that the physical paperwork copy was received?
Thank you in advance.
Hi @Shaguar357 ,
SharePoint list forms can be customized using Power Apps: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/maker/canvas-apps/customize-list-form
For your use case I can imagine you add an image column to your list which captures the output of the pen input (the signature).
Hi @BCBuizer ,
Could you elaborate a bit more on how to implement this into the app? Could I show Sharepoint list in a gallery, have the contractor click on a specific job, then sign using the pen input? I'm attempting to find someway to verify that the paperwork has been received by the contractor. Something similar to FedEx or UPS having customer sign for packages. When I reference paperwork, there may be 5-25 jobs that we need to verify the contractor received.
I think you'll find the video very useful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EACk5jlQ_jU
