COE Starter Kit - Developer Compliance Center - Description Field issue and App Settings

The Description Field, which is part of the app compliance, I can't set it in the App Settings anymore? Has this field been removed?

Also, when I click on "App Settings" button, I get the following URL for the selected APP:

https://make.powerapps.com/environments/apps/7e453c1d-7cdd-4335-a3b8-028655eb477e/details

With a "Sorry, there's been a disconnect" page.

It seems the URL is missing the "Environment Name (GUID)". Even so, if I navigate there manually I don't see a "Description field" anymore?

    Hi @Hayes3d ,

Do you want to edit an app's description?

If so, you can not edit it outside the app now.

You need to click "edit" in the app,

Then in the app's edit mode, you could edit description.

If you want to get the app's link, please check here:

    Best regards,

    Thanks for the info!

But, since this application was provided by Microsoft, I am just reporting the bugs for it. I am not going to modify it as I am using it as a managed app.

    1. App Description - This information is filled out as you described, but the "Developer Compliance Center" application doesn't seem to be connected to that same information.
      1. I also believe the Description field should be brought back to the Power App browsing screen. If a user does not have the rights to edit an application, how would they ever know what the application does without that field?
    2. "App Settings" link - Missing the "Environment" information. If I add a label and try to just get this information: selectedApp.'App Environment'.admin_environmentname . It is blank for all of the apps. So maybe the flow that gets all of that information is not working to populate that info?

Thanks for sharing those bugs, I'm just working on fixing them and they should be addressed in the next release. Looks like the App URL format has changed (it now includes the environment ID) which hasn't been taken into account in the CoE Kit.

Regarding the App Description being available on the App Detail screen, please raise this as an Idea in the Ideas Forum https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Power-Apps-Ideas/idb-p/PowerAppsIdeas - this is not something that can be controlled from the CoE Kit.

    Thanks again!
