Microsoft Flow Licensing

Good Day

Wanted to get feedback around how Microsoft Flow licensing works in specifc use cases.  We use Office 365 and have E3 subscription.  Because of this we have Flow/Power Apps licenses tied to E3.   For Microsoft Flow:

- Do both the creator of the solution via Flow and the consumers of the Flow solution need licenses?

- SharePoint Online has been adding Flow workflows as default options in lists or libraries such as the approval workflow in pages libraries.  Is a Microsoft Flow license required to set up those Flow based approval workflows and for any user who is set to approve the Flow workflow?

- Anyone has a view on Flow's roadmap

- Any idea if there would be different roles assigned to users leveraging Flow (i.e producer and consumer)

Thanks!

    Hi Manolin010,

Every user in your organization who has an E3 license will have the ability to create Flows.

Please see specifics on licensing below:

    https://us.flow.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/

The licensing doesn't differentiate between consuming and producing.

    Thanks,

Thank you, so it is then accurate to say that anyone who wants to use/work with Flow requires the license to be activated against his/her Office 365 account right? Otherwise the user wont be able in leveraging Microsoft Flow?

Hear me out on this use case.  Although we have E3 in Office 365 the license for Microsft Flow is not automatically activated yet for all users.  If we have a user who does not have the Microsoft Flow license active, will this use be able in leveraging the SharePoint Online List based Flow workflows like the one to set approval on the pages library? Or will the user get some sort of error saying that a license is needed to activate the workflow? Thanks!
