Convert DateTimeFormat.LongDate to another language

This question is similar to this one. Consider the following code and its output:

Text(Today(), DateTimeFormat.LongDate)
// Tuesday, September 28, 2021

Now in our app we have language selector:

It would be great if something like this would be possible:

Text(DateValue(Today(), "nl"), DateTimeFormat.LongDate)
// Dinsdag, 28 Januari, 2021

We can't seem to find a way to translate the day and month to the correct language.

What is the proper way of doing this?

    Hi @DarkLiteOne ,

    Please try adding something like below in Your Language property of DatePicker.

    Switch(YourDropDown.Selected.xxxxx,"NL","nl-BQ","EN","en-GB","FR","fr-BJ")

    Replace: xxxxx Value relavent to your List
     YourDropDown with your dropdown name
     Cross the language codes

    OR

    TextInput: Switch(YourDropDown.Selected.xxxxx,"NL",Text(Today(),DateTimeFormat.LongDate,"nl-NL"),"EN",Text(Today(),DateTimeFormat.LongDate,"en-GB"),"FR",Text(Today(),DateTimeFormat.LongDate,"fr-BJ"))

    You can do that with the Text() function the way you are doing it, but you need to supply the full language code and not just the region.  Like this.

    Text(Today(),DateTimeFormat.LongDate,"nl-NL")
    # or
    Text(Today(),DateTimeFormat.LongDate,"fr-FR")
