Handling file attachments (to upload to sharepoint) when resubmitting a run

I've a simple flow:

  • triggers on an email with an attachment received in outlook
  • then creates a file in a Sharepoint Document Library

On a successful run, the file is saved and can be opened/viewed

 

The issue:

  • given successful/failed run
  • when resubmitting or Automatic Testing from a previous run
  • then the file can't be opened/viewed in Sharepoint or when downloaded from Sharepoint:

Original size (first successful save): 39KB

Resubmitted size: 52KB

 

Tried using toBase64() when handling the content of the attachment, same issue.

 

Is this a known bug/limitation? Any workaround besides re-sending the original attachment to trigger a new run?

    Look likes it will break the file in flow new designer.

    Please try to create the flow in classic designer.
