Trigger when 6 files created in a folder

Currently I have 6 folders for 6 different files and when a file is dropped in their respective folder the power automate picks the files does the file checks like extension check, column header check and drop the file in another folder called "Input". This happens for every 6 folder.

Once the file arrives in "Input" folder another power automate trigger which checks the number of files and if matches 6 proceed further.

Implementing this solution raises a problem where when all the 6 files are dropped simultaneously all the 6 cloud flow triggers to then create the file in the "Input" folder and the other power automate triggers 6 times which is fine but all the 6 times it gets 6 files in a folder which then gives me a problem.

I want the power automate to check when the last file is created then check if the number of files are 6 then proceed further.

Please help with any idea or solution.

Thanks

    Hi there,

I would probably create a list to count. When an entry is made, mark 1 into the list, then check if the list is less than 6. If it is, do nothing. If it has reached 6, start your current workflow and reset the list to 0.

But I might be over-simplifying, depending on the full requirements you need?
