I can' t time out my first reminder email HELP!

My first approval runs at the same time as my first reminder. The approval lasts 1 minute and then it times outs and moves on to 2nd approval. Meanwhile my first reminder runs every 20 seconds but when the 1 minute is up it continues to run and I want it to stop when the first approval times out after 1 minute.

You can accomplish your goal by setting the run after configuration for the set variable action after the Approval action as shown in my screen shot below.

@ScottShearer that's not working. When the 2nd approval starts the first reminder continues to run and I don't want that to happen.

Please post a screen shot of your Flow as currently configured including the run after configuration of the set variable action.
