HI all,
I am new into Power Apps. I was creating a Barcode scanner app in MS Power Apps. I am using two dropdown fields and the barcode scanner object. And all is working fine. The only problem. How to transfer the data using a button to a excel file which is save on onedrive. Is there a step by step tutorial?
Thank you very much
Hi @Daydreamer
The easiest way to do this is to use Power Automate. Use the Barcodes collection:
Barcodes – Output property that contains a table of the barcodes scanned with two columns: Value, and Type. Value is the text value of the code that was scanned, while Type is the type of the code that was scanned.
Send the Barcodes to Power Automate and this via Power Automate you save the records to your file.

You can call the Collect function to copy the contents of a collection to an Excel datasource.
The syntax would look like this:
Collect(YourExcelDataSource, colYourLocalCollection)
