Create a flow to autotag Word or PDF documents in SharePoint

Hi,

I have been working lately on auto tagging Word or PDF documents in SharePoint as soon as we upload them. I have successfully autotagged IMAGE files using OCR (Computer Vision) and using Key Phrases (Text Analytics). But it seems it's a big fuzz when it comes to PDF or Word files. Does anyone know how to approach this issue?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi @Anonymous,

How would you tag the files in SharePoint?

Please consider substring the file name with expression, and then you could tag the files with the file extension name.

    Best regards,

    Alice

    Hi @v-yuazh-msft,

Thank you for your feedback on the query.

I would like to tag the contents of the file and not the file name. For eg. if the name of the word document is machinelearning.doc, I would like tags such as machine learning, cloud, supervised learning, etc. to populate the tags column on SharePoint. These tags are based on the contents of the file.

use the thumbnail of the image and tag that to generate your tags.

EDIT: Let me expand a bit. Use Sharepoint connector to generate a thumbnail, submit that to computer vision, OCR it if necessary, generate keywords, use sharepoint connector to place them in column
