how to patch a time from a timer to a edit form Data Card

Hi all

I have a process that i need to record the amount of time one of my vehicles is in standby (engine turned off). However the engine could be turned off and on again multiple times within one record.

I have 2 thoughts, i could either patch the time from the timer into a data card and then do some calculated values to add the patched value to the previously patched value. (however my patched formula is not working.

Patch('Marine Central - Logbook',Defaults('Marine Central - Logbook'),{'Standy Test Acum':DataCardValue70})

Or i could use this patch (once the formula is sorted to hold the value and then when a new value is created in the timer to add that value to the previous patch value.

Or the last option is to have the timer keep and remember its previous value and when pressing the start button to start from the last value.

If anyone could help with any of these options that would be amazing.

Thank you

Justin
