I have a gallery that loads a SharePoint list. I have added a record to the list or modified the existing list and those updates aren't showing up after 20 minutes or more with multiple refreshes. Am I missing some step or is there some caching? I usually use SQL and it is instant.

What is the Items of the gallery?
Sort( Search( StudentList, StudentFilter.Text, "StudentLastName", "StudentFirstName" ), StudentLastName )
Also another list I added a column and it isn't visible to PowerApps. (Not true)

OK - you are querying the list directly (I suspected it might be a Collection). You should not have to do this, but put in
Refresh(StudentList)
when you open the gallery and see if that makes a difference. I assume you have checked directly in SharePoint that the data is there?

I am an idiot. There is a list called Student List and a list called StudentList. I was working in one and referencing the other. Going to delete the other now. Ugh.
