Patch and submit split form

I have one huge form that users are filing up and submiting an entry in the sharepoint list. I have split the form in to two separate screens(easier navigation and to not make users scroll down like crazy) and made a third screen one which is a preview of what they have filled up in the previous two. I have managed to use the patch function in order to combine both forms and make the preview one. Now Im trying to submit both forms(as one like it should be) in to the sharepoint list but without any luck. Any help will be appreciated.

    Hi @SectorOMEGA ,

    For this requirement,
    Approach-1 - You can create the MultiStep Form like First Form Mode is NewForm and First submit the First FOrm and COllect the ID of the Record .
    Like below - Set thr OnSuccess Property Set(LastRecord,FOrmName.LastSubmit).
    and Set the Second form on Another Screen and Set the FOrm Mode Edit Mode and In Item Property you can the this variable and then Submit this Form.

    Approach 2 . Fist Form submit and Collect the ID of the Record as same way mentioned abouve and For second FOrm data collect into the collection and Patch the second form data into the Source.

    Thanks,
    Vijay

    @VijayTailor Im a little bit lost in your comment, excuse me. So for the preview part I have used:

    Patch('Active Response Blank Form'.Updates, 'Deep Dive Blank Form'.Updates)

    Which is working fine. I have to submit it at once as its creating item in the sharepoint and after that power automate is sending few emails based on the content of the item. However using patch and submit is something I cannot get.

    I managed to to do it like this:

    Patch('database', Defaults('database'), Form1.Updates, Form2.Updates, Form3.Updates...etc.)

    Now I have to figure out how to update already created record as with the above is not working. Its creating new entry.

    @SectorOMEGA

    Although you can use the Patch method, you do lose functionality of your EditForm (in this case, like OnSuccess and OnFailure).

    I just published a new video on how to split edit forms and not lose this capability.  Worth a view!
