Annoyingly, when a component is re-loaded, it's width displays in the builder and in the Simple properties window as 400 (even tough before the update it was set to something different e.g. 80). In the Advanced properties and the formula bar the width is correct (e.g. 80).

To workaround the bug, the width has to be changed and then changed back, and then the builder display and the Simple properties show the right width. e.g. change 80 to 81, and back again, and then the builder renders with the right width and the Simple properties shows 80 instead of 400.

Note the default component width is not 400, so why PowerApps is defaulting to 400 is a strange bug.
