AI Builder credit consumption

Hello Community,

I have a question regarding the AI Builder licensing, and the credit consumption.

As of today, on my Azure Tenant, I have 20 500 credits, and 0 assigned to any specific environment.

I have ran a few times in the last week flows with AI builder models, which should consume some credits. I have a look at the consumption report and I see that those executions are costing credits, but my global count of 20 500 credits is not moving at all. Those executions were made on a dev environment, I don't know if it changes something, or if the 20 500 is only for the Production environments or something like that. I think I'm missing something here, I made some research but did not find anything to answer this.

Hi @DusanR ,

Only the credits assigned to your environment are used, not the ones at the tenant level (which are not allocated yet). Can you see how many credits have been allocated to the environment where your model runs?

Hi @Antrod ,

I don't have any credit allocated to any environment actually, that's why I was wondering how I could consume credits that are not allocated at all.

Ok so if you didn't allocated any credits then credits are automatically pulled from the Tenant. The fact that it doesn't decrease may be due to a different issues or explanation. Can you check if you still have no credits consumed in the coming weeks and write us at aihelpen@microsoft.com if it's still the case? Thanks.
