Issue editing an existing gallery entry

Hi all I am having issues with editing an existing entry from my gallery.

Instead of editing the existing entry it creates a new entry in the gallery.

How can I make it so as the existing entry is edited please?

Thanks

    Hi @jolebe09 ,

    Basic example:

    On the OnSelect property of the right arrow icon in your Viewing screen, use:

    Set(
     varRecord,
     ThisItem
    );
    Navigate('Your Edit Screen');
    EditForm(EditForm1)

    On the Item property of your Form, enter:

    varRecord

    On your Submit button, use:

    SubmitForm(EditForm1)

    Hi @Amik

    Thanks for getting back to me.

    For the first formula I am getting below error

    jolebe09_0-1689768665796.png

    And with the item property for the variable - I have already this in the item. How would this affect the process?

    Thank you again

    That error is occurring because you're already using a variable called "varRecord" somewhere else in your app and there is a conflict.

    BrowseGallery1.Selected is fine if your Form and Gallery are on the same screen. If your Form is on a different screen, I would recommend using global variables.
