I am trying to decide which calendar option to choose so I don't end up choosing one that doesn't work with Power Apps and I have to start all over again.Basically in the first stage what I will create is a calendar that will feature (1) when specific people are available (based on their outlook calendar) and (2) when certain projects are scheduled (based on a SharePoint list). I am thinking of using Power Automate to regularly update this combined calendar from the sources mentioned above. This way when someone submits a request via a Power Apps form this calendar will be featured below it showing current availability for their reference to hopefully prevent double booking. In stage 2 I am thinking of linking the date field in the Power App form so that only the dates available (based on above combined calendar) will be shown and can be selected. This is more a nice to have though since I am hoping having the calendar shown should be enough for the time being.

So based on this video the answer seems to be to use a SharePoint list to hold the event data, as oppose to a SharePoint calendar or Outlook calendar? This means that people's availability will need to be added into this list, since by default most people will be using Outlook for this.
