If you goal is to add an item to your ComboBox, it is possible but you should have an editable collection on the Items Property of your ComboBox. For example if the ComboBox contains the following items:
[{name: "George"}, {name:"Grant"}]
You need to put them in a collection OnStart of the app for example:
Collect( colPeople, {name: "George"}, {name:"Grant"} );Then you put colPeople on the Items property of the ComboBox.
And finally when you want to add items to your ComboBox,
Collect( colPeople, {name: TextInput.Text} );
However, if the goal is just to display either the selected value from the ComboBox or the Manual input from the User, you could just place this on the Label on which you're displaying the text:
If( IsBlank(ComboBox.Selected), TextInput.Text, ComboBox.Selected.name )
