User numbers - what access is needed?

Hi,

we have built a communications PowerApp that works as follows:

 

Documents are collaboratively edited on a Microsoft Teams site

The Teams site is used to drive the content of a SharePoint library

The PowerApp uses the SharePoint library lists to expose documents to users

 

We may need to open the App up to all users in the company (c.20000) people - Teams has a site user limit of 5000 and SharePoint does not seem to have a maximum users limit.

 

So, the question is - do users only need access to the SharePoint data source to use the App?

    Is this a public team site?

    You can go to the SharePoint group in the team site and add All Users to Visitors group (read access)

     

    Yes users would only need access to the SharePoint data source to use the App
