automate saving of multiple files with given name

Hi everyone,

I would like to save multiple files using a for each loop that iterate over a list of name (stored in an Excel file) to assign names to these files; it' s possible? how?

I can' t understand how it s possible to iterate over list of name to save different files with the list's names.

Can you share complete details of the requirements.

Screenshots, more in depth details would help.

- You are having the list of names in an Excel file.

- Which files do you want to rename and rename by what names?

As you can see from the screenshot, I would like to iterate the "read from excel worksheet" option from A2 to AA2. The single cells contain text. The text needs to be copied in a browser ("Populate text field in window"). After the button "invoke" is selected, I have to copy the text that is shown on the browser in an XML file that has been already created in a folder. But the issue is that I have a different XML file per each iteration.

I hope I was clear enough. 🙂

You can always pass a variable with a different Xml each time in the Write xml to file action.

It sounds like you need to run this 27 (A2 to AA2) times, so you can do a regular Loop, and use the loop index to get your column, and then throw all of your steps into the Loop, that way, once it's finished with one, it'll go back to the top, read the next column's value, then repeat.
