check if in design mode from script

Is there any way to test if I am in designe mode (i.e  if i am editing the app, or just running the app) using script? 

I have code in my start page that navigates to one of two pages based on a condtion. I t works fine, but I cannot edit  the start page because when  i Click it in the desgned the navigate code runs and I en up on one of the other pages.

    Based on what I know, there should be no function available within PowerApps to check if the App is currently under Running mode or Edit mode.

     

     

    If the App is running under Browser, then you may take a try to check the URL, when it is under:

    "

    as.create.powerapps.com/

    "

    It should be in design Mode.

    I'm building an app in the MS Teams environment and the URL is https://teams.microsoft.com/_#/apps/ when in design mode, which is different than when app is running in the tab view, which is then https://teams.microsoft.com/_#/tab

    But how can I check the current URL during runtime? I didn't find anything on the web.
