Scheduled Flow comparing dates - next day triggered early

Hi.  I have a Flow which is scheduled to run at 9.59pm which updates a List column called 'Today's Date' and then compares the date entry in another column with this date and if they are the same it sends an email.  No matter what I do with the scheduling options (time zones etc) the next day date is shown in the Flow output six hours before the next day actually arrives.  This means no email is sent at 9.59pm because the Flow seems to regard the columns as not matching.  Though this happens, the actual  'Today's date' column in the List is only updated at midnight, correctly as you would expect.  Any help with this would be much appreciated.

    Hi @dhol

    Try to change the format of the 2 dates you are comparing before the comparison to Date Only,

    formatDateTime(utcNow(),'dd/MM/yyyy')

    If this solves your problem please mark as Accepted solution.

    Hi @dhol ,

    What's your time zone?

    You said your flow would always run 6 hours early, have you take a try to set the time zone in the trigger?

    Could you please share the screenshot of the flow?

    I have made a test on my side and the trigger would works for a selected time zone:

    Hi Alice.  The flow does not run early, it runs as scheduled and it always runs successfully.  However, the Output from Get items seems to show the flow seeing the next day before it has arrived - see below: flow ruin on 22 July but today's date showing 23 July.  This happens from 6.00pm (my time)

    Hi @dhol ,

    That is cause by the time in flow are always UTC time.

    Thanks Alice.   Do you know why then it 'failing' six hours early - my understanding is that in the United Kingdom I am ahead (not behind) UTC, and then only by one hour?  Thanks.

    Hi @dhol ,

    Please share the screenshot of the flow and the run history so we could better understand you and provide the workaround.
