editing File System connections and Flow disabled

Hi all,

I'm trying to automate copying of files from local PC to SharePoint through using MS Flow. I was trying the template: "Copy new files from your PC to SharePoint" and I was thrown an error.

The flow gets disabled automatically and I cannot turn back on (the page will hang when I press turn on) or run it.

Also, I can't seem to edit the parameters of the connection I have created from the File System connector (I want to change the path of the root folder).

Any solutions to these? Thanks in advance! (:

    Hello,

I tried creating the flow using the same template and it works fine for me.

Considering it requires onpremise gateway to be installed on your local machine and you having required permissions, I would suggest

    1. Please check the onpremise gateway status on your local machine.

    2. Please ensure that you are the owner of the gateway or its shared with you.

    3. Also, check if you are able to access the folder directly using the same credentials which are supplied in the file system connection.

    Hi @rohsh354

    Thanks for the reply!

What is the onpremise gateway? I'm assuming this is the problem because when I was creating a new Connection, I didn't manage to choose any gateway. Also, how do I modify something in a connection (let's say I want to change the root folder of an existing connection)?

    Hello,

Please refer to the documentation below:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/filesystem/

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/data-integration/gateway/service-gateway-install

For changing the file system connection, you can navigate to flow.microsoft.com > Data > Connections > search for your file system connection > click on edit and make changes as needed.

    Hope this helps !

    Hi @rohsh354

Thanks! The page is taking forever to load, but at least now I know where to find it.
