Modify Documents in SharePoint Site to Site

I have some of the same files and folders within 2 or more seperate SharePoint Sites. Can I set up a flow so that when one file or folders is modified in Site "A", they are also updated in Site "B" ? Can this also be set to work for any sub folders within a Site?

    Hi @simon-allen,

I am afraid I don't fully understand the meaning of "one folders is modified".

Is it setting the properties or what, could you give more explanation?

In Flow, it is possible to do one file is modified in Site "A", they are also updated in Site "B", and also be set to work for any sub folders within a Site.

Because the files for both sites are the same, you could use Identifier to determine which files and content to change.

I have made a test on my side. Please take a try with the following workaround:

The flow works successfully as below, because there is an Identifier, even if the file is in a subfolder, it still work.

    Please take a try.

    Best Regards,

    Barry

Thank you for your response Barry, @v-bacao-msft

Sorry for being vague and not including much info. I am very new to SharePoint and flow. I was able to configure this flow and it worked as intended. Thank you!

I assume I will just need to set multiple flows to keep them synced.

A flow for Site "A" file "1" to modifiy the same file"1" on Site "B", Then another to reverse from Site "B" file "1" to modify back to the same file"1" on Site "A"... Is this correct?

Each flow I set will be for a single file? Or can a flow be set to modify any and all docs created or modifyed within a folder including subfolders?

Is there a way to set a flow to allow an entire Folder to sync? Ex: If a file or doc is added or modified on either Site "A" or "B", the corrisponding Site will alos create or modify the file or document. Even if in subfolders...

Re: Modify Documents in SharePoint Site to Site

    Hi @simon-allen,

Do you want to create only one Flow, don't specify SiteAddress,  synchronize with each other regardless of the files in ‘A’ or 'B'?

Currently, Flow does not have such a function, because it need to specify the SiteAddress when using SharePoint-related actions and triggers, which is a necessary condition.

As for 'Each flow I set will be for a single file?', creating a Flow is valid for each single file, because Flow will be triggered once as long as a file is modified or created.

    Best Regards,

    Barry
