Hello,

solving strange situation:

Two actions:
Get a record and Update the record.
With the same object ID, I Could find the record, but can't the update record.
Any tips, on why the update is not working?

    Hi @ManSed,

I would check a couple of things. Have you used the cross company property to true in both actions? Have you double checked if the Update Record action might require different keys for the Object id field of this specific entity?

    Hi,

for both actions the object ID is the same:

There is no cross-company property in these actions because positions are for all companies.

    Hi @ManSed,

Ok, thanks for checking. I wasn't aware that positions was something for all companies. Most of the F&O automations I created have been dataareaId specific (like Customers, Sales Orders, etc. )

Out of interest, have you tried the Data management packages instead of the default connector?

Maybe as a workaround you could try and use a PATCH in a HTTP action and see if that update does work?

    Hi,

yes, with Data Management I can't change the fields I want to change. Already discussed in the Dynamics forum and the solution was proposed to use X++ (which I don't use, yet).

Ok, will check the link with HTTP request! Thanks!
